Sometimes when we grow up, we forget the simple truths of God we learned as a youngster. This blog serves to challenge us to think more maturely about the things of God. However, thinking "maturely" should never involve ignoring popular scriptures or leaving behind things we were taught as children.
Many times we grow up and get too smart for our own good. This page is about exploring simple truths. From time to time I'll share how God is teaching me to hold on to things I learned as a child, as I look to teach my children about our great God!

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:14-17
